Table Setting Competion

I have wanted to enter a table setting competition at one (or more) of the local county fairs for quite a few years at this point.
I am committing right now, that 2014 will be the year.
(edit: 2014 is almost over, I need to regroup and consider 2015!)
I will set at least one table, at one county fair to be entered for the judging.
And I will be sure to sneak in some advertising for my silver rental, and maybe even my costume rentals, or Mickey hats.... Well maybe I should enter more than one table, etc. in the fair.

Special rates for serving 2 or 4 persons, with no serving pieces or carefully selected serving pieces as needed.

Elegant Lady aka Daybreak, features a curvilinear shape remeniscent of a violin or an hour glass figure, accented with swirls along the perimeter, three roses at the handle end and a single rose at the bowl end. It coordinates very well with a similar pattern I offer as traditional rose and swirls (NTS25)

 This is a set of Salad Serving Fork and Spoon that can also work separately as a Serving fork and a Casserole Spoon. The Casserole spoon is for serving large portions like the rice under the savory dishes in a Chineese family style meal, or the Mashed potatoes in a simpler meal, as well as a casserole intended as the bulk of the meal (aka main course). This set provides a helpful addition to the similar set which offers a smaller number of serving pieces than most of the patterns I offer.

Romford, Continental Espresso Service for 8.

This elegant service is a lovely blend of formal and Art Deco. The pattern features a rectilinear handle shape accented with a flower and leaves placed where they add a little extra grip in use, as well as a tiny reprise of the motif near the bowl/blade end. This pattern co-ordinates nicely with Fortune also available as a Coffee/Desert Service, and/or Priscilla which is a full meat and potatoes meal service.

This elegant service is a lovely blend of Art Neuveau and Art Deco. The pattern features an extended tear drop shape accented with diagonal of flowers and leaves placed where they add a little extra grip for in use, as well as a tiny reprise of the motif near the bowl/blade end. This set also co-ordinates well with Romford which is an esspresso with continental breakfast or dessert service, and with Priscilla which is a full meat and potatoes meal service.

25 piece traditional service for eight (8) to twelve (12) for semi formal coffee, tea, and/or desert service.

Set includes coffee/dessert service for eight (8) to twelve (12) with functional serving pieces, and familiar place pieces.  There is a Table Serving Spoon to serve a cobbler or souffle and a Sheet Cake Knife to efficiently portion out a large cake quickly.  The three (3) pie servers allow three different desserts to be served with out cross contamination. They are great for serving tortes, layer cake and English style puddings as well as the obvious pie. Rose Point, aka Starlight. Formal Four Course Family Meal Service for 12

This elegant service has a vintage look. The pattern features a linear profile accented with flowers and leaves filling in the ends of the shape including a single rose centered near the end of the handle and a smaller rose near the bowl/blade end of each piece.

72 piece traditional service for 12 for family style setting,
(i.e. shared serving dishes on the table, passed person to person)  

Set includes traditional service for twelve with interesting and functional serving pieces. There are four (4) serving spoons so that four dishes can be served simultaneously without mixing and contamination. The powdered sugar sifter spoon could also be used to sift Parmesan cheese. The jelly server is intended for slicing and serving jellied sauces like cranberry sauce. The casserole spoon is great for serving mashed potatoes or rice as well as casseroles. Besides serving meat the cold meat fork can be paired with the casserole spoon to serve a leafy salad. The pickle fork is designed to fish pickles out of a small jar, bowl or cup of brine, but works equally well doing the same thing for olives and other brined vegetables or even small firm preserved fruits.

Silver Rental Policies

All of my sets are all vintage patterns not available at bigger party and event rental companies.

Rentals are flat rate for one to four days, bigger companies charge by the day.
Weekend rentals are delivered Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and picked up Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, depending on your needs.

Prices for busy event weekends will be based on the size and functions of the set in the pattern chosen, because if a part of the set is rented, the rest of the set is us
ually just not able to be rented at the same time. (As I'm just getting started  with this, I reserve the right to rent more tailored portions of sets to keep your cost down.)

Some sets can offer service for twelve (or even more) others are limited to service for eight or six.
Some sets have more serving pieces, others have very few.
Some sets emphasize special meal functions, others have a great selection of individual place pieces for varied functions, while others have a more standard place setting.

As part of my customer service, I consult with you regarding your intended menu and style and help you to choose the right rental set for your needs. You can rest assured that there will likely be a few extra serving pieces included just in case your needs change at the last minute.
